Aotearoa Music Awards 2025

Pead has a longstanding history supporting our client Recorded Music NZ to produce the Aotearoa Music Awards. The 2025 Awards was no exception, which marked two significant occasions, celebrating both the 60th year of the Awards and the 50th anniversary of the Official Aotearoa Music Charts.

Held at the Viaduct Event Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for the second consecutive year, Pead managed the media relations from start to finish from revealing the finalists to Aotearoa’s media and public, facilitating an ongoing stream of earned coverage celebrating and profiling our nominees, to managing the red carpet and media room on the night with expertise.

Each year Pead ensures a consistent stream of coverage for our talented Tūī finalists— from revealing their nominations to media at the beginning of the campaign, ensuring our media friends have exclusive angles and access to Aotearoa’s best musical talent throughout the Awards season, managing media’s access to artists on the red carpet and in the media room following their live win on the night.
