The brief
The objective was to deliver a high‑impact launch that would cut through a crowded cookbook market, position the title as a must‑have release ahead of the Christmas gifting period, and support a successful retail launch nationwide.
Pead delivered a strategic media relations programme focused on securing premium coverage across New Zealand’s most influential print, broadcast and online platforms. This included the development of a comprehensive media release and supporting materials, alongside a targeted pitch plan prioritising high‑reach.
Media pitching and interview management centred on landing hero national features, broadcast interviews and cover moments to anchor the launch narrative. This was supported by a broader layer of lifestyle, food and regional coverage, including reviews and excerpts, to maintain visibility throughout the launch window.
The campaign achieved strong national cut‑through, with Nadia’s Farm Kitchen featured across top-tier titles such as TVNZ Breakfast, Newstalk ZB with Mike Hosking, Your Weekend cover story, and a Good magazine cover and feature as part of the publication’s 100th issue. Additional coverage appeared across NZ Woman’s Weekly, Cuisine, Your Home & Garden, RNZ Saturday Morning, and Kia Ora magazine.
